About Kristy Rosendorf & Growing Roses Wellness
Growing Roses Wellness is my solo practice. I offer one-to-one therapy for people looking for thoughtful, practical support with what feels difficult right now.
A place to speak plainly
You do not need to have the whole story organized before reaching out.
I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, name what is happening, and give real attention to the patterns that may be shaping daily life.
My role is to listen closely, ask useful questions, and help make room for both practical support and a deeper understanding of what is underneath. The pace can be manageable, and the work can begin with what feels most present.
I work with people seeking support for trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, self-esteem and relationships, addiction and recovery, autism and neurodivergence, and stress and emotional regulation.
How I work
There is no single method that fits every person or every concern.
I draw from several approaches to help notice repeating thoughts, feelings, and relationship patterns; build skills for difficult moments; and understand experiences with more clarity.
- CBTA way to notice the links between thoughts, feelings, and actions.
- DBTPractical skills for tolerating distress and responding to intense emotions.
- ACTSupport for making room for difficult experiences while moving toward what matters.
- Psychodynamic TherapyA way to understand recurring patterns and the experiences beneath them.
Meet Kristy Rosendorf
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Life can feel overwhelming when you're stuck in the same patterns, overthinking everything, or trying to figure out how to move forward. I work primarily with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, and personal growth. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I want therapy to be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself, understood without judgment, and supported in creating meaningful change.
Restructuring our minds can restructure our lives. I primarily use CBT to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, & behaviors, while also drawing from psychodynamic and ACT approaches. I’ll work with you to understand not only what you're experiencing, but why, and how to create changes that actually feel meaningful in your life.
Whether you're struggling with your relationships, confidence, past experiences, or simply feel stuck, you deserve a space where you can slow down and be heard. I'm here to help you understand yourself, build new tools, and move forward. Let's take that next step together.
