Anxiety & Depression therapy for the days that feel heavy
If worry, low mood, numbness, or exhaustion is crowding out the rest of life, I offer a place to sort through it. We can begin with what feels hardest, even if you cannot name it neatly yet.
What people bring me
People often come in feeling tense, flat, overwhelmed, or stuck in loops they cannot think their way out of. Daily tasks can start to take more effort, and rest may not feel restorative. Some people notice they are carrying more self-criticism, more dread, or less interest in things that used to matter. It can feel like you are pushing through your days without much space to breathe.
- I worry about everything, even small things.
- I feel flat and tired no matter how much I rest.
- I keep telling myself I should be doing better.
- I cannot seem to get out of my own head.
We can make room for both what you feel and what you keep having to do.
How I work with it
I look at how thoughts, feelings, and habits are working together in your life right now. We may focus on reducing the sense of being trapped in the same loop, noticing what intensifies the strain, and finding steadier ways to respond. If depression and anxiety show up together, we can hold both without forcing one to matter more than the other. The work is shaped around what you bring in, not around a preset script.
- CBT
- We look at the thoughts and actions that keep worry or low mood going. The sessions often involve noticing patterns in real situations, not just talking about them in the abstract.
- ACT
- ACT helps us stay in contact with what matters even when the mind is loud or the mood is low. We make room for uncomfortable feelings without letting them make every decision.
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- This can help us understand the older patterns that feed self-doubt, worry, or withdrawal. We pay attention to what repeats in relationships and in the way you talk to yourself.
What the first sessions look like
The first sessions focus on what has been happening day to day and what feels most disruptive. I will ask about sleep, stress, routines, relationships, and what has already been tried, and you do not need a perfect explanation before starting.

Questions people ask
Is this the same as therapy for anxiety and depression?
Yes, this page is for therapy for anxiety and depression. I focus on what is making daily life harder and how it is affecting you now.
What if I cannot explain why I feel this way?
That is okay. We can start with the feelings themselves and the parts of life they are interfering with.
Do I need to be in crisis to come in?
No. Many people come in because things have been wearing on them for a while.
Will you only talk about thoughts?
No. We can look at thoughts, feelings, patterns, and the pressures of everyday life together.
